Game Time
Sundays
- 2 to 4 p.m. — Sunday Trivia at Olde Salem Brewing Company (315 Market St., Roanoke). Each week we will dive into a multitude of general trivia categories and topics. It's always free to play and the winning team of each round will receive a gift card.
Tuesdays
- 6:30 to 9 p.m. — Twisted Trivia at Twisted Track Brewpub (523 Shenandoah Ave. NW, Roanoke).
- 7 to 9 p.m. — Music Bingo/Trivia at Starr Hill Pilot Brewery & Side Stage (6 Old Whitmore Ave., Roanoke). Bingo and Trivia alternate by the week. Get your friends together and grab a beer while showing off your knowledge.
Wednesdays
- 6 p.m. — Bingo at Franklin County Distilleries (25156 Virgil H. Goode Hwy, Boones Mill).
- 6 to 8 p.m. — Clues & Brews Weekly Trivia at Three Notch’d Brewing (24 Campbell Ave., Roanoke). General knowledge trivia game hosted by Not Rocket Science Trivia. Prizes for first, second, and third place.
- 6:30 to 9 p.m. — Comedy Bingo at Twin Creeks Brewing Company (111 S. Pollard St., Vinton). Doors open at 5:30pm, bingo calling starts at 6:30pm. Three rounds of fun! Make sure you stay for the last round - it gets a little spicy.
- 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. — Trivia/Music Bingo/Pictionary at Living Proof Beer Co. (50 W. Court St., Rocky Mount). Games are chosen on a rotating basis.
- 7 to 9 p.m. — Themed Trivia at Twisted Track Brewpub (523 Shenandoah Ave. NW, Roanoke). Themes are announced weekly.
Thursdays
- 4 to 7 p.m. — Gaymer Night at the Roanoke Diversity Center (425 Campbell Ave. SW, Roanoke). Young adults are invited to hang out, watch the latest music videos, play board games, chat, and mingle. Bring your controllers and play your friends with the Nintendo Switch on the big screen, start an RPG, or play card games and board games. Visit this link for more details.
- 6 to 8 p.m. — Trivia at Corned Beef & Co. (107 S. Jefferson St., Roanoke).
- 6:30 p.m. — Biweekly Team Trivia at Big Lick Brewing Co. (409 Salem Ave. SW, Roanoke). Trivia starts at 6:30pm sharp and consists of quizzical rounds with guess that song/artists, and who is that celeb, etc. BLBC gift certificates will be awarded to the three highest scoring teams. Since this is a biweekly event, call ahead or check this link to find out if trivia is “a go” before going.
- 6:30 to 8 p.m. — Speed Quizzing Trivia at Twin Creeks Brewing Company (111 S. Pollard St., Vinton). Grab your smart phones and head over to Twin Creeks Brewing Company’s Vinton Taproom on Thursdays for some fast paced trivia fun. Test your knowledge with round after round of trivia - bring a team or play solo - winners get prizes, so come ready to compete.
- 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. — Music Bingo at Martin’s Downtown Bar and Grill (413 1st St., Roanoke). Test your music knowledge and compete against your friends and other patrons. Features music, prizes and drink specials.
- 6:30 to 9 p.m. — Music Bingo or Live Music at Twisted Track Brewpub (523 Shenandoah Ave. NW, Roanoke). One or the other will happen every Thursday night. Visit this link for more information.

- 9:30 a.m. — M&M Mountain Bike Ride at Carvins Cove starting at the Bennett Springs Lot (4300 Carvins Cove Rd., Salem). The group typically has 2 or 3 ride groups of varying ability levels to accommodate most abilities. The group is really fun and welcoming, and has converted many folks into mountain bikers already...so go and be one of them!
Mondays
- 11 a.m. to noon — Zumba with Andrea Burney at the Gainsboro Branch Public Library (15 Patton Ave. NW, Roanoke).
- 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. — Free Yoga for the People at the main Roanoke Public Library (706 S. Jefferson St., Roanoke.) More information can be found at this link.

- 5:30 to 7:45 p.m. — L’Eroica (Roanoke’s Friendliest Group Road Ride) starting at Cardinal Bicycle’s Grandin Village Location (1312 Winbourne St., Roanoke). All levels of cyclists are welcome. Visit this link for more information.
- 6 p.m. — Fleet Feet Pub Run & Walk at Big Lick Brewing Co. (409 Salem Ave. SW, Roanoke). 1, 3, and 5 mile routes are available. Check in at the Fleet Feet tent when you arrive. Visit this link for more details.

- 5:45 p.m. — Roanoke Riders starting at Big Lick Brewing Co. (409 Salem Ave. SW, Roanoke). Two ride distances: up Mill Mtn to the stop sign on the parkway and back; or an over 20 mile loop ride going left past the stop sign on the parkway and connecting back to the Greenway. Several paces. All are welcome.
- 6:30 p.m. — Community Run/Walk presented by Runabout Sports starting at Olde Salem Brewing (21 E. Main St., Salem). All ages and fitness levels welcome as well as strollers, dogs on leashes, and friends and family- whoever you want! A 1.7-mile flat route and a 3.1-mile scenic (hilly) route is available.
Thursdays
- 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. — The Mullet Mountain Bike Ride starting at Cardinal Bicycle’s Grandin Road Location (1312 Winbourne St., Roanoke). The Mullet is a “business in the front, party in the back” no drop intermediate mountain bike ride. Riders should be comfortable riding to the top of Mill Mountain to enjoy this ride. Beginner riders can check out our skills clinics and Sunday mountain bike ride options. The ride is about 1.5 hours. Gather at the Cardinal Café post-ride for drinks, pizza, and snacks.
- 6 p.m. — Crank Sisters Social starting at Cardinal Bicycle’s Grandin Village Location (1312 Winbourne St., Roanoke). Join the Crank Sisters on Thursday for beginner and intermediate road ride options. This ride is open to women, trans, and non-binary riders, and anyone who feels more comfortable with this group. The beginner ride is a sub-10 mile, no-drop, flat social ride through quiet neighborhood streets. Intermediate ride options will include rolling terrain.
- 6 p.m. — Olde Salem Brewery Thursday Road Ride starting at Olde Salem Brewing (21 E. Main St., Salem). Meet local road cyclists at this weekly social road ride. Meets every Thursday at Olde Salem Brewery (Salem location). Ride starts at 6pm (slightly earlier in winter months). Enjoy a 20 mile ride and 1400′ of climbing that takes you along Wildwood/Texas Hollow/Harborwood roads. Click here to see the route on Strava. Find more information at this link.
Fridays
- 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. — Free Yoga for the People at the main Roanoke Public Library (706 S. Jefferson St., Roanoke.) More information can be found at this link.
- 8:30 a.m. — Coffee Club Walk/Run with Runabout starting at Chris’s Coffee & Custard (1824 9th St. SE, Roanoke). 2-3 miles of walking, jogging, or running (some people cover a lot more miles than this but it’s on their own and they start early or stay late). Dogs are welcome on the patio at Chris’s. This is a very stroller-friendly route since it is entirely on sidewalks or the Roanoke River greenway.
- 9 a.m. — ROA Friday Coffee Club at Sweet Donkey Coffee (2108 Broadway Ave., Roanoke). Relaxed, bicycling-flavored coffee social, Friday at 9am (summer 9am start, winter 10am start.) All coffee lovers welcome (bike or no bike)! Impromptu ride(s) often occur after based on interest and weather.
Saturdays
- 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. — But First, Coffee Ride starting at Cardinal Bicycle’s Grandin Village Location (1312 Winbourne St., Roanoke). This is a no-drop ride, but cyclists should be able to maintain a speed of 15 mph.
- 9:30 a.m. — Gravel and Grinds bike ride starting at Cardinal Bicycle’s Grandin Village Location (1312 Winbourne St., Roanoke). A 30–45-mile drop bar Adventure ride leaving from Cardinal Bicycle Grandin. Start your weekend right with a mix of Road, Gravel and even singletrack! Roanoke has a wealth of gravel riding routes to be explored and cycling buddies to be made. Bring lights (during winter months) and coffee money.
