Roanoke Valley Greenway Coordinator Resigns, Saying He Felt Stymied by Governments

The head of the Roanoke Valley Greenway Commission submitted his resignation last week, saying he felt stymied in the work by local government officials.

Frank Maguire, Greenway coordinator, wrote in a letter Thursday that he will be leaving the position at the end of February but did not say why.
